Look and Learn
First (?) published in the UK magazine Look and Learn issue 10 (24 March 1962) in a full page colourised format. This piece was drawn by by H.M. Brock and later re-published in the 1975 Bumper Story Book for Boys (interior page - A Debt Repaid). In the late 1950's AP were considering releasing a Rob Roy Annual and a Dick Turpin Annual to accompany their successful Kit Carson, Buck Jones and Robin Hood Annuals. Unfortunately this project did not happen but this piece would have easily won a place in a Dick Turpin Annual.
A Geoff Campion (1916-1997) spot illustration for Look and Learn issue 17 (12 May 1962) - for the story of Rip Van Winkle.
A painting by Derek Charles Eyles for issue 63 of Look and Learn (20 March 1963) to accompany a piece on the poem 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes. Part of a series on great literature which also included full page paintings for: Lorne Doone, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Moby Dick, Little Women etc.
A Geoff Campion (1916-1997) spot illustration for an unidentified Look and Learn issue.
Italian artist Ruggero Giovannini's version of The Three Musketeers for Look and Learn.
